Rabbi Daniel Jeshurun Vargas born in
New York City, his family originates from Joppa Israel, and
moved to Hawaii in 1982
Rabbi Daniel has strong ties with
Israel as a tour group host to Israel, and has a great
passion for the hurting children of Israel that have
suffering in hospitals as a result of bombings.
Today, Rabbi Daniel serves as
president and founder of Beth Israel Jewish Ministries
International located in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is also
manager of Hawaii’s America Israel Travel Inc. Plans for
year 2007 include the opening of Israel College of The Bible
where Jews and Gentiles can learn about the rich Judeo
heritage and about the people and land of Israel.
Since 2002, Beth Israel has put
together an annual support Israel rally with emphasis on
understanding the struggles of the Jewish people and
developing friendship between the people of Hawaii and
Israel.
A reunion between holocaust
survivors and holocaust liberators.
Rabbi Daniel has been working on a
project to bring together the survivors and liberators of
the world war two holocausts. Daniel has met with a number
of the liberator soldiers of the 552 US Army division of
Honolulu Hawaii who have expressed interest in meeting
survivors they helped liberate.
Wedding Officiant:
For those desiring a Jewish wedding,
we provide services for marriage and rededicate of marriage
vows in Hebrew, English or Spanish, and marriage counseling
a copy of a Hebrew ceremony can be mailed to couples outside
of Hawaii for review. Our ceremonies are customized to suit
the couples desire and need. The wedding can be a simple
Jewish wedding or we can be a full on ceremony with as many
Jewish traditions as one desires.
Things we can provide for a Jewish
wedding or rededication of marriage vows.
We provide at additional cost, a
chuppah, Ketubah, a kippot for the groom, the traditional
ceremonial breaking of class, ceremonial wine, and at the
request of the couple, a blowing of a shofar is available.
Jewish wedding gifts and other specific Jewish wedding items
can be added with enough notice.
